Green Valley Organics Lactose Free Kefir is made with 100% fresh, Grade A pasteurized organic milk from a local family dairy farm here in Sonoma County. The cows have 1700 acres of green pasture to roam and graze! In addition the dairy farm is Certified Humane® with the Humane Farm Animal Care organization, considered the “gold standard” for humane animal care. Some of the standards of certification include: a nutritious diet without antibiotics or hormones, animals raised with shelter, resting areas, and sufficient space and the ability to engage in natural behaviors.
