We are proud to share the exciting news that Green Valley Organic Lactose Free Plain Yogurt was selected as a winner of VEGETARIAN TIMES (VT) Magazine’s 6th Annual Foodie Awards, which were announced in the October 2014 issue now available on newsstands. VT editors nominated 100 of their favorite products in 25 categories, covering all sorts of eating situations from breakfast, lunch and dinner to snacks and treats.


Readers were asked to vote for their favorite products at, where nearly 5,000 votes were cast. Green Valley Creamery Plain Yogurt came out on top in the “plain yogurt” breakfast category.

According to VT Associate Editor Tami Fertig: “Green Valley Creamery Plain Yogurt is a velvety favorite that is rich in calcium and packed with good-for-you probiotics. I love adding fresh berries and nuts – it’s a delicious way to start my day. We’re proud to feature another great Green Valley Creamery product in our annual 2014 Foodie Awards.” Redwood Hill Farm Plain Goat Milk Yogurt was a runner up this year. Green Valley Creamery Blueberry Pomegranate Açai Kefir won in the Kefir category in VT’s 2011 Foodie Awards, and Redwood Hill Farm Traditional Plain Goat Milk Kefir was a runner up that same year.
